Welcome to Derbyshire Adult Community Education at Hope Valley College. We run a wide range of courses and activities at Hope Valley College and in local village venues. We do hope you can find something that interests you. Brighten Up Your Autumn!! NEW COURSES STARTING AFTER HALF TERM AND PLACES STILL LEFT ON SOME COURSES WHICH HAVE STARTED - sign up now!! New courses for November: Maths For Adults (Thurs 5th Nov. 7.15pm), Do It Yourself (Monday 9th Nov. 7.15pm), Computing For Beginners (Wed. 11th Nov. 7.15pm), Practical Gardening (Wed. 11th Nov. 9.30 am), Emergency First Aid for Child Carers (Mon. 9th Nov. 7.15pm), Book Keeping (Thurs. 12th Nov. 6 pm), Food Safety in Catering (Wed. 11th Nov. 6.30pm), First Aid At Work (Friday 27th Nov. 9.30 - 4 pm) There are ALSO still some places left on adult education and family learning courses which have started . Financial support is available for students on low incomes. Ask in the Community Education office for details. A mini bus comes to the college on Thursday nights. Please note that when you enrol for a course , you will need two pieces of identification. Please bring them with you to the first session of your course.
