| College Collecting Lets Grow Vouchers |
|
By Matt Scorer Hope Valley College is collecting Lets Grow vouchers as part of the promotion put on offer by supermarket chain Morrison's. By collecting the Lets Grow vouchers the College can buy new equipment for use in Land Based Science lessons. Customers at Morrison's will receive one voucher for every £10 they spend in store with additional vouchers available on selected Morrison's own brand products.A collection box is positioned in the College reception and vouchers are only available until the 1st of November. Principal Bernie Hunter said: "Last year the College benefitted greatly from the promotion buying spades, garden forks, compost and other sundries with collected vouchers. I we can collect a substantial number of vouchers we will be able to improve our equipment for the second year running." As the College develops its' grounds - Mark's garden, the vintage apple tree nursery bed, eco trail and new green house - it would like to take the opportunity to acquire more equipment for our students.
This year the College is hoping to collect 400 vouchers to swap for 15 trowels and secateurs. |
